UFS101 - 2nd Vocabulary Entry

1. Word:  Poverty
    Meaning: the state of being poor
    Example: There are billions of people who are living in poverty.

2. Word: Destitution
    Meaning: without any money, food or a home
    Example: I ran from home with destitution.

3. Word: Inability
    Meaning: lack of ability, power or skill
    Example: Tom has inability to do something because of that, he can't find a perfect job  for him.


4. Word: Incapable
    Meaning: not able to do something
    Example: Granny have less energy at her age, she incapable to walk far like old times.

5. Word: Starvation
    Meaning: suffering or death because there is not enough food
    Example: We have to help the people in Africa from starvation.

6. Word: Deprivation
    Meaning: to take away something from somebody
    Example:

7. Word: Dearth
    Meaning: a lack of something, not enough of something.
    Example:

8. Word: Thwart
    Meaning: to stop somebody doing what they planned to do
    Example: Sakurako needs to be thwart before Makino is in trouble.

9. Word: Famine
    Meaning: a lack of food over a long period of time in a large area that can cause the death of many people
    Example: The explosion of the nuclear bomb causing famine all over the nearest country.

10. Word: Drought
      Meaning: a long period without rain
      Example: We have to save water before the drought.
